Disclaimer

1. Online content
Although the content of this website has been prepared and reviewed with care, the right to change/printing errors and mistakes is reserved.
The author reserves the right not to be responsible for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. The author cannot be held liable for any damage or loss of a material or non-material nature resulting from the use or non-use of the information provided or from the use of incorrect or incomplete information, except in the case of demonstrable intent/gross negligence on the part of the author. All content is without obligation and non-binding. The author explicitly reserves the right to modify, supplement or delete some of the pages or the entire content without providing separate notification or stop publication thereof temporarily or indefinitely.

2. References and links
In the event of direct or indirect links to external web sites ("hyperlinks") that are outside the scope of responsibility of the author, responsibility for illegal content cannot be accepted unless the author had knowledge of the content and it was technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent visitors to the site from viewing those pages.
The author hereby explicitly declares that he was not aware of any illegal content on the linked sites when the links were installed. The author has no influence whatsoever on the current or future design, the content or the authorship of the web sites to which links are provided. For this reason the author explicitly distances himself from the content of all linked sites that have been modified after the links were installed. The same also applies to all links and references within the author's own Internet content, and external entries in visitor books, discussion forums, link lists, mailing lists or any other type of database provided by the author to which external write access is possible. The provider of any referenced site is solely responsible for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content, particularly for damage caused by the use or non-use of such information, not the entity that merely refers to the respective publication via links.

3. Copyright and trademarks
The author strives to respect the copyrights of all images, graphics, sounds, video sequences and texts used in all publications and to use self-created images, graphics, sounds, video sequences and texts or to use license-free graphics, sounds, video sequences and texts.
All brand names and trademarks that are mentioned in the web site content and may be protected by third parties are unrestrictedly subject to the conditions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the owner(s) thereof. It cannot be assumed that trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties just because this is stated!
The copyright for published objects that the author has created himself belongs exclusively to the author of the web site. The duplication or use of such diagrams, sounds, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the explicit approval of the author.

4. Data protection

Collection, processing, use, forwarding, and deletion of personal data

When a user visits the websites, only anonymised access data without personal references are logged, e.g. names of retrieved pages, browser type, and Internet provider. Personal data are collected only when provided voluntarily, e.g. during an ordering process, opening of a customer account, or registration. This collected data is used exclusively for processing of orders or contracts and for internal statistical evaluations. To the extent that you have not agreed a use of data that goes beyond order processing, your data will be blocked after order processing is complete and deleted after passing of the mandatory statutory retention periods of up to ten years. Data collected merely during a visit to the website is not forwarded to third parties.

When ordering through the online shop, data that are collected during and are necessary for order processing and completion, e.g. full name, e-mail address, and mailing address, are used only for order processing and for internal statistical analysis. Data that you provide during inquiries through the contact form in the mandatory fields, e.g. title, name, mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address are saved for the purpose of forwarding of the inquiry to the correct contact and for processing of the inquiry. The data are not used for other purposes, particularly not for promotional purposes. To the extent required for order processing or invoicing purposes, the required data may be forwarded to third parties such as sales partners or freight forwarding companies for the purposes of order fulfilment.

Data that are collected during online warranty registration, the completion of which requires contact data as well as product information about the machine for which the warranty period will be extended, are required for processing in the event of a warranty claim and assignment of the machine. Reminders of the yearly, legally required repetition tests for the machines and any necessary recall actions can occur. After passing of the extended warranty period, the data collected during online warranty registration will be deleted.

If you sign up to receive the newsletter after registration with your e-mail address and explicitly approve when sending, the provided e-mail address will be used to inform you of changes, updates, and amendments to EWM products until you unsubscribe, which may be done at any time. If the newsletter is no longer desired, your e-mail address will be deleted from the distribution list. The e-mail address that is required for receipt of the newsletter will not be forwarded to third parties.

Personal data will not be transmitted to third parties beyond the specified cases to the extent that we are not legally obligated to do so or have not received corresponding approval from you.

Data security

Comprehensive security precautions of a physical and technical nature and with respect to applicable methods have been taken for the protection of your data from corruption, destruction, or unauthorized access. Data is transferred to us encrypted.

If it is possible to enter personal or business information (e-mail addresses, names, addresses) within the web site, this information is provided by the user voluntarily. The use of and payment for all of the services that are provided are also permitted without entering such information or by entering anonymous information or an alias (if technically possible and reasonable). Contact data such as mailing addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses that appear in the legal information or similar information must not be used by third parties to send unsolicited information. The right is reserved to take legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails who violate this prohibition.

Use of tracking tools and programs of external providers

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and Internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will, under no circumstances, associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Data for marketing and optimisation purposes are collected and saved on this website using technology from etracker GmbH (www.etracker.com). Usage profiles may be generated from this data under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for this. Cookies are small text files that are saved locally in the clipboard of the visitor's Internet browser. Cookies enable recognition of the browser at a later time. Data collected with etracker technology are not used, without separate approval of the affected user, to personally identify the visitor to this website nor are the data merged with personal data on the carrier of the pseudonym. Approval to collect and hold the data may be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

When our website is visited, we only collect personal data that is expressly provided to us. Our website also contains programs from external providers such as Twitter and the social network Facebook. These are solely operated by the respective providers. Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA can be identified by means of the Facebook logo and the ‘Like’ button add-on. Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, Ca 94103, USA, which also collects personal data and shares this with third parties, can be identified by means of the Twitter logo.

On visiting the website containing a plug-in, the browser establishes a direct connection with the provider’s server (e.g. Twitter or Facebook) which then transmits the content of the plug-in to the browser. In turn, the content is integrated by the provider (e.g. Facebook) into the website displayed. The provider (e.g. Facebook) is thereby automatically informed that our website has been visited. If, while visiting our website, users log in with the provider (e.g. Facebook) using a personal user account, the provider (e.g. Facebook) is able to allocate their visit to our website to this particular account. By interacting with the plug-in, e.g. by clicking the ‘Like’ button or entering a comment, this information is directly transmitted to the provider (e.g. Facebook) where it is also saved and may be passed on to third parties. If this form of data transmission is not desired, users must log out of their third party account (e.g. Facebook or Twitter) before visiting our website.

The purpose and scope of the data collection by providers such as Facebook, the processing and use of the data by such providers and the respective rights and optional privacy settings are solely determined by the providers of these programs (e.g. Facebook). We therefore refer you to the privacy policies of the providers Facebook and Twitter at https://de.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.php or https://twitter.com/privacy. respectively.

Right to information and revocation

In the event of further questions about the collection, processing and use of personal data, as well as for matters relating to the correction or deletion of all personal data, please contact our data protection officer, Mrs Susanne Kamm (external DSB), Dr. Dornbach Consulting GmbH, Anton-Jordan-Straße 1, 56070 Koblenz, e-mail address skamm@dornbach-consulting.de, Tel. +49 261/9431-0. You may revoke the approval granted to us for collection and use of data at any time without providing a reason.
